Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Documenta-Edition by Reinhard Mucha. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,115.00 (€ 2,267.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Reinhard Mucha have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „BBK Edition“. in June 2016 with an auction result of EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Documenta-Edition von Reinhard Mucha zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.115,00 (€ 2.267,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reinhard Mucha auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „BBK Edition“. im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 11.875,00.
