Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2013 Christies in New York held the auction First Open: Summer Edition, which included the work Lampe by Reinhard Mucha. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,646.74) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reinhard Mucha - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work „BBK Edition“., which sold at auction in June 2016 for EUR 11,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open: Summer Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lampe von Reinhard Mucha zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.646,74) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Reinhard Mucha mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit „BBK Edition“. beobachtet, die im Juni 2016 für EUR 11.875,00 versteigert wurde.
