Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work The Family by Reimond Kimpe for EUR 5,975.00. This price was achieved in the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Reimond Kimpe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing Tennis in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 59,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Family von Reimond Kimpe für EUR 5.975,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing Tennis im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.100,00.
