This artwork by Reimond Kimpe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. In the TwentiethCentury Art auction, the work Girl with a ball sold for EUR 23,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Reimond Kimpe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Playing Tennis, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 59,100.00.

In der Auktion TwentiethCentury Art wurde die Arbeit Girl with a ball für EUR 23.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Playing Tennis beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 59.100,00 versteigert wurde.
