Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Cocotte by Reimond Kimpe was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Reimond Kimpe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Playing Tennis in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 59,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Cocotte von Reimond Kimpe wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Playing Tennis im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.100,00.
