Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included this untitled work by Reimond Kimpe. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reimond Kimpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing Tennis in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 59,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Reimond Kimpe zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing Tennis im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.100,00.
