Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Reimond Kimpe was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reimond Kimpe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Playing Tennis in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 59,100.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Reimond Kimpe wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reimond Kimpe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Playing Tennis im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.100,00.
