This work without title by Ray Parker was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2010. The »bidding war« ended at USD 56,250.00 (€ 43,149.74), 61% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ray Parker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 166,695.00 (€ 156,462.36).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ray Parker wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 43.149,74) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ray Parker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 166.695,00 (€ 156.462,36) versteigert wurde.
