The work K7, 1970 by Ray Parker was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,562.50 (€ 10,682.16), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ray Parker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 166,695.00 (€ 156,462.36).

Die Arbeit K7, 1970 von Ray Parker wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 10.682,16) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ray Parker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 166.695,00 (€ 156.462,36).
