Auction result well in line with expectations
The work What to Do by Rameshwar Broota was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rameshwar Broota have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Numbers in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 912,000.00 (€ 710,667.81).

Die Arbeit What to Do von Rameshwar Broota kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rameshwar Broota auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Numbers im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 912.000,00 (€ 710.667,81).
