Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Metamorphosis - (III) by Rameshwar Broota was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 97,029.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rameshwar Broota have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Numbers in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 912,000.00 (€ 710,667.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Metamorphosis - (III) von Rameshwar Broota kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 97.029,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rameshwar Broota auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Numbers im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 912.000,00 (€ 710.667,81).
