Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2015 Christies in Mumbai held the auction The India Sale, which included the work The Game by Rameshwar Broota. The price achieved of INR 5,000,000.00 (€ 69,527.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as INR 4,000,000.00 – 6,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rameshwar Broota achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Numbers in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 912,000.00 (€ 710,667.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Christies in Mumbai die Auktion The India Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Game von Rameshwar Broota zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von INR 5.000.000,00 (€ 69.527,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit INR 4.000.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rameshwar Broota erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Numbers im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 912.000,00 (€ 710.667,81).
