This artwork by Rameshwar Broota achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2020. In the A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection auction, the work Silent Structures sold for USD 525,000.00 (€ 448,028.67) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rameshwar Broota; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Numbers sold at auction in May 2006 with the realized price of USD 912,000.00 (€ 710,667.81).

In der Auktion A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection wurde die Arbeit Silent Structures für USD 525.000,00 (€ 448.028,67) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rameshwar Broota; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Numbers im Mai 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 912.000,00 (€ 710.667,81).
