Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Warren, 1968 by Ralph Humphrey was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,831.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralph Humphrey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A/60-61 in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 237,500.00 (€ 201,049.69).
