Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Nocturno De Los Gatos (The Night Of The Cats) by Rafael Zabaleta. The price achieved of GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,454.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rafael Zabaleta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish campesina (Peasant Woman), which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 116,213.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nocturno De Los Gatos (The Night Of The Cats) von Rafael Zabaleta zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 31.250,00 (€ 36.454,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rafael Zabaleta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish campesina (Peasant Woman) beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 97.250,00 (€ 116.213,60) versteigert wurde.
