Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Puerto De Mar, Valencia (The Port, Valencia) by Rafael Zabaleta was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 73,250.00 (€ 88,564.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Rafael Zabaleta have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Spanish campesina (Peasant Woman) was auctioned for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 116,213.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Puerto De Mar, Valencia (The Port, Valencia) von Rafael Zabaleta kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 73.250,00 (€ 88.564,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
