Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 77,675.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Rafael Zabaleta have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Spanish campesina (Peasant Woman) was auctioned for GBP 97,250.00 (€ 116,213.60).

Die Arbeit La Familia Campesina von Rafael Zabaleta kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Madrid zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 77.675,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Rafael Zabaleta konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit Spanish campesina (Peasant Woman) für GBP 97.250,00 (€ 116.213,60) versteigert.
