The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 6,350.01), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Radcliffe Bailey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Day Of Soumbedioune In Dakar, 2008 in September 2021 with an auction result of USD 62,812.50 (€ 54,256.28).

Die Arbeit Black Redemption von Radcliffe Bailey wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Open House bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 6.350,01) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Radcliffe Bailey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Day Of Soumbedioune In Dakar, 2008 im September 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.812,50 (€ 54.256,28).
