This artwork by Radcliffe Bailey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March 2020. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,201.02) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Radcliffe Bailey; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Day Of Soumbedioune In Dakar, 2008 sold at auction in September 2021 with the realized price of USD 62,812.50 (€ 54,256.28).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Radcliffe Bailey erzielte im März 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.201,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Radcliffe Bailey; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Day Of Soumbedioune In Dakar, 2008 im September 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 62.812,50 (€ 54.256,28).
