Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (from Posh Floored as Ali G tackles Becks) by Rachel Harrison was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in May 2007. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,200.00 (€ 14,271.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rachel Harrison have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Nineties in March last year with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 79,509.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (from Posh Floored as Ali G tackles Becks) von Rachel Harrison wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 19.200,00 (€ 14.271,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rachel Harrison auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Nineties im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 79.509,60).
