Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Red by Qiu Yacai. It changed hands for a price of HKD 138,600.00 (€ 16,609.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Yacai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Model(Painted In 1993) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 168,834.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red von Qiu Yacai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 138.600,00 (€ 16.609,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Yacai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Model(Painted In 1993) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 168.834,82).
