Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Artist by Qiu Yacai was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 141,600.00 (€ 15,514.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 160,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qiu Yacai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Model(Painted In 1993) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 168,834.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Artist von Qiu Yacai wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 141.600,00 (€ 15.514,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 160.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qiu Yacai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Model(Painted In 1993) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 168.834,82).
