Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zhong Kui by Qiu Jiongjiong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,815.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qiu Jiongjiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apprentice in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,274.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Zhong Kui von Qiu Jiongjiong kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 4.815,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qiu Jiongjiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apprentice im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.274,68).
