Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work I'D Rather Be The Devil by Qiu Jiongjiong was sold in the Contemporary Ink Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 6,196.88). Admittedly, works by Qiu Jiongjiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apprentice in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,274.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit I'D Rather Be The Devil von Qiu Jiongjiong wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Ink Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 6.196,88) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qiu Jiongjiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apprentice im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.274,68).
