Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 100 Square Sichuanese Paintings: I.No. 34/ Ii. No. 43/ Iii. No. 31 (Three Works) by Qiu Jiongjiong was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,756.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qiu Jiongjiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apprentice in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,274.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 100 Square Sichuanese Paintings: I.No. 34/ Ii. No. 43/ Iii. No. 31 (Three Works) von Qiu Jiongjiong wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.756,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qiu Jiongjiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apprentice im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.274,68).
