A top price for Qiu Jiongjiong - as previously expected
The work Apprentice by Qiu Jiongjiong was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,274.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 260,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Apprentice is the most expensive artwork by Qiu Jiongjiong that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Apprentice von Qiu Jiongjiong wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.274,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Apprentice das teuerste Kunstwerk von Qiu Jiongjiong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
