Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work Untitled (Mother And Child) by Prodosh Dasgupta was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,048.07). Admittedly, works by Prodosh Dasgupta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Broken Idol in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 38,465.63).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit Untitled (Mother And Child) von Prodosh Dasgupta kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.048,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Prodosh Dasgupta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Broken Idol im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 38.465,63).
