The work Tree and Twig by Prodosh Dasgupta was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 16,380.00 (€ 14,766.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Prodosh Dasgupta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Broken Idol, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 38,465.63).

Die Arbeit Tree and Twig von Prodosh Dasgupta kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 14.766,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Prodosh Dasgupta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Broken Idol beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 38.465,63) versteigert wurde.
