Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Egg Bird by Prodosh Dasgupta was sold in the Boundless: India auction at Sothebys in Mumbai in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of INR 1,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for INR 1,875,000.00 (€ 23,679.68). Other works by Prodosh Dasgupta have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 38,465.63) in October 2015 for the work Broken Idol.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Egg Bird von Prodosh Dasgupta wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Boundless: India bei Sothebys in Mumbai versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von INR 1.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für INR 1.875.000,00 (€ 23.679,68) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Prodosh Dasgupta haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 38.465,63) im Oktober 2015 für die Arbeit Broken Idol beobachtet.
