In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Twins by Prodosh Dasgupta. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,355.38), 38% above the upper estimate. Other works by Prodosh Dasgupta have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 38,465.63) in October 2015 for the work Broken Idol.

Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Twins von Prodosh Dasgupta zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.355,38) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Prodosh Dasgupta haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 38.465,63) im Oktober 2015 für die Arbeit Broken Idol beobachtet.
