Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Queen Relaxing by Prodosh Dasgupta was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,127.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,500.00 – 5,500.00. Admittedly, works by Prodosh Dasgupta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Broken Idol in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 38,465.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Queen Relaxing von Prodosh Dasgupta kam im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.127,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.500,00 – 5.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Prodosh Dasgupta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Broken Idol im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 38.465,63).
