Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jardin à Veneux by Pierre Eugène Montézin was auctioned at Christies in London in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,565.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Eugène Montézin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nymphéas in March last year with an auction result of EUR 214,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jardin à Veneux von Pierre Eugène Montézin kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.565,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Eugène Montézin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nymphéas im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 214.200,00.
