Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deep Level Sequence (Obscurantist Version) by Phillip Allen was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2014. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,025.88) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Phillip Allen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,505.05).
