Auction result well in line with expectations
The work North of Reassuring by Phillip Allen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in April last year. The price achieved of EUR 2,772.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Phillip Allen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2015 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,505.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit North of Reassuring von Phillip Allen kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.772,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Phillip Allen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2015 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.505,05) versteigert wurde.
