The work The works (Single Dream Version) by Phillip Allen was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,626.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Phillip Allen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,505.05).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.626,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Phillip Allen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.505,05).
