This artwork by Philipp Franck achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in June 2017. In the Frühjahrsauktionen 2017 - Third Floor auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philipp Franck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Die Wannseebrücke“. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 92,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philipp Franck erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Frühjahrsauktionen 2017 - Third Floor wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philipp Franck erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Die Wannseebrücke“. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.500,00.
