In October 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Female Nude on Persian Rug by Philip Pearlstein. The »bidding war« ended at USD 62,500.00 (€ 53,661.89), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Philip Pearlstein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Model With Empire State Building, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 170,500.00 (€ 130,791.65).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Female Nude on Persian Rug von Philip Pearlstein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 53.661,89) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Philip Pearlstein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Model With Empire State Building beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 170.500,00 (€ 130.791,65) versteigert wurde.
