Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Angela Davis by Peter Saul was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,556.00 (€ 3,221.01), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Saul achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Human Dignity in May this year with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 768,725.36).

Die Arbeit Angela Davis von Peter Saul kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.556,00 (€ 3.221,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Saul erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Human Dignity im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 819.000,00 (€ 768.725,36).
