Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Custom Print I, from 11 Pop Artists, Volume I; and Custom Print II, from 11 Pop Artists, Volume II by Peter Phillips was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April 2018. The price achieved of USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,035.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Phillips achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 141,800.00 (€ 199,936.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Custom Print I, from 11 Pop Artists, Volume I; and Custom Print II, from 11 Pop Artists, Volume II von Peter Phillips wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert.
