Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For Ton Up - 1961 by Peter Phillips was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2020. The price achieved of EUR 10,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Phillips achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 141,800.00 (€ 199,936.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study For Ton Up - 1961 von Peter Phillips kam im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Phillips erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 141.800,00 (€ 199.936,22).
