Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nigerian Pitch. 1984. by Peter Phillips was auctioned at Koller in December last year. The price achieved of CHF 11,250.00 (€ 11,379.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 9,000.00 – 14,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Phillips achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 141,800.00 (€ 199,936.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nigerian Pitch. 1984. von Peter Phillips kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Koller zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 11.250,00 (€ 11.379,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 9.000,00 – 14.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Phillips erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 141.800,00 (€ 199.936,22).
