Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Wolf Cycle by Peter Coffin was sold in the Under the Influence auction at Phillips in New York in September 2011. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,438.00 (€ 6,274.07), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Coffin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pirate in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 140,276.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wolf Cycle von Peter Coffin wurde im September 2011 in der Auktion Under the Influence bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.438,00 (€ 6.274,07) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peter Coffin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pirate im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 140.276,71).
