Auction result well in line with expectations
The work To Your Scattered Bodies Go by Peter Coffin was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2013. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,048.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Coffin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pirate in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 182,500.00 (€ 140,276.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit To Your Scattered Bodies Go von Peter Coffin kam im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.048,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Coffin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pirate im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 182.500,00 (€ 140.276,71).
