Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Formas En Apoyo by Pedro de Oraá was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,824.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Pedro de Oraá have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Concreta 6 was auctioned for USD 46,250.00 (€ 41,972.96).
