Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstracto by Pedro Coronel was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 138,600.00 (€ 116,002.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pedro Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Año 1 luna in March this year with an auction result of USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstracto von Pedro Coronel wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 116.002,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Año 1 luna im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22).
