Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Autorretrato by Pedro Coronel. Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 100,000.00 (€ 83,696.02). Admittedly, works by Pedro Coronel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Año 1 luna in March this year with an auction result of USD 693,000.00 (€ 637,417.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autorretrato von Pedro Coronel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 100.000,00 (€ 83.696,02) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pedro Coronel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Año 1 luna im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 693.000,00 (€ 637.417,22).
