In the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction, the work View from I's Christopher Isherwood's, Santa Monica, circa 1965 sold for USD 8,960.00 (€ 8,465.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Wonner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Cup in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 240,838.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Wonner erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online wurde die Arbeit View from I's Christopher Isherwood's, Santa Monica, circa 1965 für USD 8.960,00 (€ 8.465,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Wonner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Cup im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 240.838,47).
