Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Oleander in a Schweppes Bottle, 1978 by Paul Wonner was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,084.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Wonner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Cup in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 240,838.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life with Oleander in a Schweppes Bottle, 1978 von Paul Wonner kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.084,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Wonner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Cup im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 240.838,47).
