Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chinese Teapot, Flowers, Evening Sky, 1978-79 by Paul Wonner was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. It achieved a price of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,865.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Wonner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Cup in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 240,838.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chinese Teapot, Flowers, Evening Sky, 1978-79 von Paul Wonner kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.865,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Wonner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Cup im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 240.838,47).
