Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glebe by Paul Morrison was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,156.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Morrison achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Protoplasm in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 26,400.00 (€ 38,200.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Glebe von Paul Morrison kam im September 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.156,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Morrison erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Protoplasm im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 26.400,00 (€ 38.200,36).
